Ingredients (i)
30 g butter
6 cloves garlic - peel and finely grate
2 tablespoons plain flour T55
150 ml dry white wine
350 ml beef broth
0,5 teaspoon dried basil
0,5 teaspoon dried oregano
125 ml heavy cream 36%
salt - to your taste
black pepper - freshly ground from a pepper mill, to your taste
Instructions
- Prepare all ingredients according to the list above and read through the recipe before starting
- Heat a frying pan on medium heat and add (i)30 g butter
- Add (i) and cook gently until it has softened6 cloves garlic
- Add (i) and cook for 1 minute2 tablespoons plain flour T55
- Stir in (i) to deglaze the pan, to release all the flavours150 ml dry white wine
- Add (i) and cook gently for 5 minutes (timer), stirring now and then350 ml beef broth, 0,5 teaspoon dried basil, 0,5 teaspoon dried oregano
- Season (i)black pepper
- Add (i) and let it simmer for 10 minutes (timer), stirring now and then125 ml heavy cream 36%
- Adjust the seasoning with (i)salt, black pepper
- Add more water if necessary
- Serve
Notes
You can use the same frying pan as you used for cooked or frying the meat
The broth can be made from a cube if you do not have broth at hand
