Rustic Spanish chorizo creamy sauce with garlic and shallot onion
A rich and tasty sauce, with an exquisite flavour. A perfect accompaniment to any kind of pasta
Ingredients (i)
2 tablespoons olive oil
125 g Spanish chorizo - peel and cut into quarters slices of 0,5 centimetre
4 shallot - peel and finely chop
8 cloves garlic - peel and finely grate
500 ml heavy cream 36%
salt - to your taste
black pepper - freshly ground from a pepper mill, to your taste
Instructions
- Prepare all ingredients according to the list above and read through the recipe before starting
- Heat a sauté pan and add (i)2 tablespoons olive oil
- Add (i) and cook gently until it has softened125 g Spanish chorizo, 4 shallot, 8 cloves garlic
- Add (i) and bring to a simmer500 ml heavy cream 36%
- Season with (i)salt, black pepper
- Cook it gently on low heat until you get a creamy texture, stirring now and then
- Serve
