black pepper - freshly ground from a pepper mill, to your taste
Instructions
Prepare all ingredients according to the list above and read through the recipe before starting
Preheat oven to 200 °C
Cook (i) in salted water according to the package but still al dente
300 g penne pasta, salt
Heat a frying pan and add (i)
2 tablespoons olive oil
Add (i) and fry and stir for 2-3 minutes
1 red bell pepper, 1 yellow bell pepper
Add (i) and stir for a few minutes
400 g courgette, 4 cloves garlic
Add (i) and let it simmer for 15 minutes (timer)
800 g canned whole plum tomatoes, 3 tablespoons paprika, 100 ml water
Season with (i)
salt, black pepper
Mix the pasta into the frying pan
Add (i) and stir it together
2 chicken breasts, 2 handfuls basil
Transfer it to an ovenproof dish
Mix (i) together in a bowl
100 g ricotta cheese, 2 tablespoons water
Spread it across the top of the pasta dish
Sprinkle (i) on top
100 g cheddar cheese
Bake in the oven for 35 minutes (timer) until golden brown
If necessary leave them an extra few minutes under the grill to add more colour
Decorate (i) and serve

Notes
To improve this dish buy the chicken breasts skin-on and bone-in and debone them yourself and remove the skinYou can replace the ricotta cheese with a similar type of cheeseAlternatively use wholemeal pasta instead of white pasta
