Instructions

  • Prepare all ingredients according to the list above and read through the recipe before starting
  • Preheat oven to 200 °C
  • Heat an ovenproof sauté pan with a lid big enough for the final dish and add (i)
    2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Add (i) and cook for 6 minutes (timer) or until soft, stirring now and then
    2 onions
  • Season generously with (i)
    salt, black pepper
  • Add (i) and cook for 3 minute
    4 cloves garlic
  • Stir in (i)
    1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • Stir in (i) and cook for 1 minute
    70 g tomato paste
  • Stir in (i) to deglaze the pan, to release all the flavours
    700 ml water
  • Add (i) and bring to a boil and let it simmer for 3 minutes
    2 cubes chicken stock cube
  • Season with (i)
    salt, black pepper
  • Add (i) and stir it together
    250 g green lentils
  • Put the lid on
  • Bake in the oven for 20 minutes (timer)
  • Take it out of the oven
  • Add (i) on top with skinless side up and push them down so they are almost submerged
    600 g cod fillets
  • Season them with (i)
    salt, black pepper
  • Drizzle with (i) on top of the fillets
    1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Put the lid on
  • Bake in the oven for 10 minutes (timer)
  • Take it out of the oven and let it rest for 5 minutes (timer)
  • At the same time
  • Mix (i) together in a bowl with a whisk until smooth
    100 g mascarpone cheese, 1 tablespoon milk 1,5%, 0,5 piece lemon zest
  • Season with (i)
    salt, black pepper
  • Arrange it on top of the dish in small blobs
  • Bake in the oven for 2 minutes
  • Decorate (i) and serve
    0,5 handful basil

Notes

You can use any white fish fillets like cod, haddock, hake, cusk, tilapia, pollock, striped bass or white sea bass 
You can decorate with any fresh herb you already have
