Instructions

  • Prepare all ingredients according to the list above and read through the recipe before starting
  • Heat a sauté pan big enough for the final dish and add (i)
    2 tablespoon olive oil
  • Add (i) and cook on medium heat until done, on booth sides
    600 g cod fillet
  • Season with (i)
    salt, black pepper
  • Put aside for later on a plate
  • Return the same pan to the heat
  • Add (i)
    2 tablespoon olive oil
  • Add (i) and cook until it has softened, about 2-3 minutes, stirring now and then
    1 onion
  • Add (i) and fry and stir for 2-3 minutes
    600 g potatoes, 2 corn
  • Add (i)
    500 ml water, 1 chicken stock cube
  • Bring to a boil and let it cook for 10 minutes with the lid on
  • Make sure the potatoes are cooked, check with a meat needle or a knife
  • Add (i) and let it simmer until it has the preferred thickness
    100 ml heavy cream 36%
  • Stir in (i)
    10 g basil
  • Adjust the seasoning with (i)
    salt, black pepper
  • Return the flank fish to the pan
  • Let it simmer on low heat for 3 minutes, with lid on
  • Sprinkle with (i)
  • Serve

Notes

You can use any fish you can cut into portions 
You can replace the chicken stock cubes with vegetable stock if you prefer 
You can leave out the cream if you like
