Instructions

  • Prepare all ingredients according to the list above and read through the recipe before starting
  • Preheat oven to without fan300 °C
  • Heat a frying pan and add (i)
    1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Add (i) and fry and stir on medium heat until softened, 8-10 minutes (timer)
    1 onion, 2 cloves garlic
  • Add (i) and fry and stir for 5 minutes (timer)
    125 g Spanish chorizo
  • Add (i) and bring to a simmer
    800 g canned whole plum tomatoes, 1 tablespoon cane sugar, salt, black pepper
  • Add (i) and cook gently for 8 minutes, stirring now and then
    500 g gnocchi
  • Stir in (i)
    1 handful basil
  • Adjust the seasoning with (i)
    salt, black pepper
  • Transfer it to an ovenproof dish
  • Add (i) on top
    125 g mozzarella cheese
  • Bake in the oven for 5 minutes (timer), or until golden brown
  • Decorate (i) and serve
    basil

Notes

You can choose the spiciness of the Spanish chorizo as you prefer
