Omelette with red bell pepper, spring onion and cheddar served with tomato slices
This delicious and healthy omelette are filled with red bell pepper, crispy spring onions, and melted cheddar cheese. The red bell pepper adds a slight sweetness and a beautiful color with the spring onion bringing a fresh and mild onion flavour to the omelette. The grated cheddar adds a creamy element to the dish with the tomato slices bringing a balance and freshness to the dish
black pepper - freshly ground from a pepper mill, to your taste
Instructions
Prepare all ingredients according to the list above and read through the recipe before starting
Mix (i) together in a bowl
3 eggs
Season gently with (i)
salt, black pepper
Put aside for later
Heat a non-stick frying pan and add (i)
1 teaspoon olive oil
Add (i) and cook and stir for 3-4 minutes
0,5 red bell pepper
Add (i) and cook and stir for 1-2 minutes
1 spring onion
Add the egg mix and let it cook over medium heat until almost set
Spread (i) evenly
15 g cheddar cheese
Fold gently the omelette in half
Decorate with (i)
spring onion
Served with (i)
1 tomato
Notes
Use a wooden fork or another kitchen utensil that do not scratch the surface of the panYou can replace the cheddar cheese with a similar type of cheese
