Instructions

  • Prepare all ingredients according to the list above and read through the recipe before starting
  • Preheat oven to without fan200 °C
  • Heat a casserole on medium heat
  • Add (i) and bring to the boil
    300 ml heavy cream 36%, 300 ml milk 1,5%
  • Add (i)
    4 cloves garlic, 1 bunch thyme, 1000 g potatoes
  • Season with (i)
    salt, black pepper
  • Bring to a simmer and let it simmer for 15 minutes (timer)
  • Adjust the seasoning with (i)
    salt, black pepper
  • Transfer it to an ovenproof dish
  • Arrange (i) on top
    100 g gruyère cheese
  • Bake in the oven for 30 minutes (timer), or until golden brown
  • Decorate with the rest of (i)
    thyme
  • Serve

Notes

To acquire a stronger taste you can exchange the gruyère cheese with Parmesan cheese
