A golden-brown, crisped-up veggie-steak full of inviting flavour. Celeriac is the base, with a hint of garlic, cheddar and a mild dash of chili flakes adding to its nutty taste

Instructions
Prepare all ingredients according to the list above and read through the recipe before starting
Mix (i) together in a large bowl and knead it to a good consistency
1 celeriac, 150 g oats, 4 eggs, 200 g cheddar cheese, 6 cloves garlic, 1 teaspoon ground cumin, 1 teaspoon chili flakes, 4 tablespoons dark soy sauce
Season with (i)
salt, black pepper
Mix everything together
Heat a frying pan and add (i)
2 tablespoons olive oil
Shape the celeriac mince into small veggie-steaks with your hand and a tablespoon and place them into the frying pan
Fry on both sides until golden brown

Notes
You can replace the cheddar cheese with a similar type of cheeseIf you make a large portion, you can keep it warm in the oven at low temperatureIf you have stored some in the freezer, defrost them in the fridge and fry them in a pan to make them crispy again
