A golden-brown, crisped-up veggie-steak full of inviting flavour. Celeriac is the base, with a hint of garlic, cheddar and a mild dash of chili flakes adding to its nutty taste

Instructions
Prepare all ingredients according to the list above and read through the recipe before starting
Mix (i) together in a large bowl and knead it to a good consistency
1 celeriac, 150 g oats, 4 eggs, 200 g cheddar cheese, 6 cloves garlic, 1 teaspoon ground cumin, 1 teaspoon chili flakes, 4 tablespoons dark soy sauce
Season with (i)
salt, black pepper
Mix everything together
Heat a frying pan and add (i)
2 tablespoons olive oil
Shape the celeriac mince into small veggie-steaks with your hand and a tablespoon and place them into the frying pan
Fry on both sides until golden brown

Notes
You can replace the cheddar cheese with a similar type of cheeseIf you make a large portion, you can keep it warm in the oven at low temperature until all is doneIf you have stored some in the freezer, defrost them in the fridge and fry them in a pan to make them crispy again
