Instructions
Prepare all ingredients according to the list above and read through the recipe before starting
Preheat oven to 200 °C
Fill a casserole with water
Add (i)
1000 g small potatoes, salt, 1 teaspoon olive oil
Bring to a simmer and let it simmer for 20 minutes (timer) with the lid on
Make sure the potatoes are cooked, check with a meat needle or a knife
Drain off the water
Add the potatoes to a baking tray with baking paper
Flatten each with a large fork or a potato masher, keeping them in one piece
Drizzle with (i)
60 ml olive oil
Season with (i)
salt, black pepper
Bake in the oven for 30 minutes (timer), or until golden brown

The purpose of adding olive oil is to avoid the potatoes from boiling overThe thinner you smash the potatoes the more crispy they get, choose your thickness according to your liking
