Ingredients (i)
 

  • potato1000 g potatoes - scrub and cut in half length wise
  • olive oil2 tablespoons olive oil
  • saltsalt - to your taste

Instructions

  • Prepare all ingredients according to the list above and read through the recipe before starting
  • Preheat oven to 200 °C
  • Put (i) into an ovenproof dish, cut-side up
    1000 g potatoes
  • Brush with (i)
    2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Season with (i)
    salt
  • Bake in the oven for 40 minutes (timer), or until done and golden brown
  • If necessary leave them an extra few minutes under the grill to add more colour
  • Serve

Notes

When served eventual make a cut lengthwise on the top of the potato and add some butter
