They have a mild, sweet flavour and a slightly onion like taste. Leeks have a long white stalk with tightly packed layers of leaves at the top. They are commonly used in soups, stews, stir-fries and other savoury dishes for their unique flavour. Leeks are a good source of vitamins A, C, and K as well as fiber and various antioxidants.
