This dish consists of a savoury tart made with a buttery pastry crust filled with a delicious combination of sautéed mushrooms, wilted spinach, aromatic thyme, and melted emmentaler cheese. The earthy flavours of the mushrooms and spinach are complemented by the herby taste of thyme, while the rich and creamy emmentaler cheese adds a creamy and satisfying element to the tart.   • Prepare all ingredients according to the list above and read through the recipe before starting
  • Preheat oven to 230 °C
  • Prepare a baking tray with baking paper
  • Add (i)
    1 sheet puff pastry round sheet
  • Prick it with a fork
  • Spread (i) evenly, keep 1-2 centimeters free of the edge
    150 g Greek natural yogurt
  • Heat a sauté pan on medium heat
  • Add (i) and cook gently until it has collapsed, stirring now and then
    100 g spinach
  • Drain and squeeze off the water
  • Spread it evenly on top of the tart
  • Heat a sauté pan on medium heat
  • Add (i)
    1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Add (i) and cook and stir for 3 minute
    1 onion, 2 cloves garlic
  • Add (i) and cook and stir until golden
    200 g white mushrooms, 3 sprigs thyme
  • Season generously with (i)
    salt, black pepper
  • Spread it evenly on top of the tart
  • Spread (i) evenly
    100 g emmentaler cheese
  • Bake in the oven for 15 minutes (timer), or until golden brown and bubbling
  • Cut it into fine slices
  • Serve immediately

Notes

You can replace the emmentaler cheese with a similar type of cheese
If used as a starter the servings should be doubled up
